Silver DCA Calculator was built privacy-first: the whole point of the tool is that your stack is your business. This page explains, in plain language, what is stored, what is measured, and what is never done with your information.
What the calculator stores on your device
Your portfolio — the ounces, prices, and purchases you enter — is stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your device. It is never sent to us or to any server, and it disappears if you clear your browser storage. There is no account, no sign up, and no way for us to see what you hold.
Market data
To show live prices, charts, and news, the site requests public market data and headlines from third-party services (price feeds, a chart provider, and news sources, reached through proxy services where needed). Those requests fetch public data only — they do not include your portfolio or anything you typed into the calculator.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-PVGYKBXRLX) to understand overall usage: roughly how many people visit, which pages they read, and what country they are in. Analytics uses cookies and reports to us in aggregate. It does not tell us who you are, and it never receives your portfolio data. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting how the calculator works.
Advertising
This site does not currently display advertising. If advertising is added in future, ad partners may use cookies to measure and personalise ads, and this policy will be updated before that happens.
